My name is Nicole Jacobi and I love to cook. For as long as I can remember, food has been a true passion in my life - especially creating it and of course, eating it. I simply love life and good food. I love rhapsodizing endlessly about food, experimenting with flavors, and I love the friendships, community and bonds of family that get nurtured by cooking and eating. 

A lot of my inspiration and innate joy for food and cooking comes from my heritage growing up in the villages of northern Germany around Hamburg. I grew up with my mother and aunts making the best cakes you can imagine and there was never an opportunity missed for a festival or a gathering that was of course all about local specialties. Here at "my table" I will share some of these "secret recipes with you. Your feedback and comments are always very much appreciated. yours nicole

sourcing the best natural ingredients

a sandwich, dessert or side salad  is only good as it's ingredients!

here at gourmetlunch we are committed to using local, seasonal and organic ingredients. gourmetlunch uses only free-range organic poultry and grass fed beef. we use a lot of organic herbs for our dressings, sweet tomatoes and different kinds of delicious cheese. you have to try our french feta!

so, each day we have a different sandwich on our menu to reflect the shifting seasons and changing availability of ingredients. our sandwich comes with a side salad (not these boring ones!) or a dessert ( not this full-fat too sweet calorie bombs!).
